Swisslion Bulgaria Ltd. was established in 2004. as part of the Swisslion Takovo system.

The Swisslion Takovo trading system is a name that makes our fans all over the world smile. We make our products using original SL technology of natural, tightly controlled ingredients, while respecting the standards that guarantee high quality and safety. Swisslion Takovo’s portfolio includes all product groups: chocolate and cream, foamed and jellied desserts and candies, honey, cookies and biscuits (glazed, teas, biscuits, sandwich biscuits, salads and crackers), delight products, ice creams, juices, baby foods, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, soups, pastas, ice creams and meat products. The production is carried out with the help of modern equipment intended for the confectionery industry and is managed by professionally trained workers carefully monitored by a team of experts. This is how our factories create the best flavors for those who like our products.

Swisslion Ltd. Skopje is a company whose main activity is the production and marketing of high quality products manufactured with modern SL technology. It is a symbol and guarantee of high quality and technology, production of natural and healthy food with controlled origin of incoming raw materials and perfect taste.

Most of our production (70%) is exported to foreign markets. Swisslion exports to Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Slovenia, Albania, Sweden, USA, Australia, Bulgaria and others.

How a successful company is created

The Beginning
In 1997 our first factory was put into operation in the town of Vrsac, Serbia. From the very beginning, we apply technology that guarantees the highest quality of products and the usage of best raw materials.
11 production lines
From 1997 to 2003, Swisslion successfully developed and opened 11 new production lines. 10 of them are located in Vrsac, Serbia. The eleventh factory opens doors in its southern neighbor, Macedonia.
HACCP
In 2003, the factory in Vrsac introduced a hygiene control system that meets international requirements imposed by Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).
Swisslion Takovo
In 2004, Swisslion joined PIK Takovo in Gornji Milanovac and together entered the market under the name Swisslion Takovo. Private companies also joined the company, later building food businesses in Trebinje and Nevesine.
Time for icecream
In 2011, we invested in ice cream production equipment. The capacity of the factory is to produce 30 million liters of ice cream a year, using a production line to produce 54 types of ice cream in all common shapes and flavors.
Banat - chocolate is in line
In 2016, Swisslion also joined another confectionery company - Banat from Vrsac. She specializes in her own chocolate-flavored production.
Let's celebrate our 20th anniversary with wine
2017 is special for Swisslion Takovo, not only because the grape processing and wine production company - Vrsacki vinogradi – has joined to us, but also because we became 20 years old.

Vision of the business system Swisslion-Takovo is to keep the position of one of the top leaders in the confectionery market in Serbia and Balkan region as well, and by its work and developing the technology expend sphere of activity and develop a positive image about itself and its products, as successfully positioned trade marks.
